DESCRIPTION:We played at Mosfest many times – it was a great festival with brilliant music and atmosphere\, something we looked forward to all year. Now the festival’s organiser Steve Cowen has written a book detailing the history of the event\, and the book’s launch party will feature a lineup of bands who performed there. DESCRIPTION:We’re kicking off our summer gigs with a banger – a FREE all-day beer festival / live music event at our favourite Sheffield pub\, the Brothers Arms. \nLive music starts at 4.30 with the fantastic Jim Burke duo\, we’ll be onstage at around 6 – all the live music will be finished by 9pm so as to remain on good terms with the neighbours 🙂 \nIn addition to all the lovely premium booze the pub already sells\, there will be special guest beers on to get everyone ready for the vaguely chronological SKA sets that we’ll be playing – our first set will go back to the 1960s with classic tunes by the Skatalites and others\, followed by a second set of 2Tone belters. \nWe’re very excited for this one\, hopefully we’ll see you there!
